Mabinogi Bibliography

Continues from the first ever modern Mabinogi publication 1795. This 2nd. instalment takes Pwyll from his sitting the Mound of Arberth to his inability to reach Rhiannon. Text is bilingual Welsh and English, double columns.
The excerpt ends with an appeal: ‘The manuscript from which so much of the story is taken, has not got the remainder. Perhaps some correspondent may have a complete copy of it; and who, as a well-wisher to the Cambrian Register, will have the goodness to send the conclusion for the next volume.’
URL is google books; excerpt is intact. Go to page 322 using the Contents finder shown as 'Page' dropdown at the top. Note the pages show 1796 at the top of each but this is definitely Cambrian Register II, 1799. It quite often continues instalments to the earlier vol., so in that sense is a continuation of the 1796; but page numbering starts page 1.
FOOTNOTE p. 322.*Gorset (gorsethe) is the word in the original, which literally means a supreme seat.
The term was applied to the sittings of a court of judicature, as well as to the conventions of the bards, both of which used to be upon eminences, in the open air.
